Next Generation Traceability System "ULGs"
Embedded UHF tire tags are embedded in the tire mold during tire production,
before the tire is cured.
Because they are installed during the tire vulcanization process, they are mounted in the core of the tire and can be accurately tracked throughout the tire's lifecycle.
The Avery Dennison Smartrac "AD Madura® Tire Tag" used by ULGs uses leadframe technology to reduce the size of the IC housing. Automatic overmolding and resistance welding methods ensure a durable and uniform antenna connection.
